A neutral marketplace connecting academic institutions and scholars — institutions post roles, scholars build one rich application, and both are matched on equal terms.

What we are

Academic Exchange is an academic job board built around a single idea: a scholar should be able to assemble one strong application — profile, materials, and an optional interviewable avatar — and have it matched fairly against every open position, rather than re-entering the same information for each posting.

How it works

Institutions publish positions, which are reviewed before they appear publicly. Applicants build a profile and can go live to employers, who see a ranked fit against each of their roles. Nothing about a scholar is shown to an employer without the scholar first choosing to be visible.

Who runs it

The board is operated by a small team. We are not affiliated with any single institution, and we do not sell applicant data. Questions, corrections, and takedown requests reach a real person at support@exchange.local.
